I finally got out! I haven’t been out in over a week. It’s been cloudy and that spoils any photography. I stayed off for the holiday to avoid the crowds. I saw 2 Bucks first thing, They were disturbed by the celebrations at the lower dam, so they had a short night were out after sunrise.
After the deer I didn’t see much of anything. Every year gets slower and slower, not sure why. I saw one eagle to the nest at the end of my drift and got a photo. Then I did another drift and it wasn’t any better. I did see the male when I ran up river and got a photo of him.
When I got to the end, I didn’t see the eagle had moved up river and before I knew it I was pretty close and she took off after I passed. I continued on down and then here she comes back carrying a fish and I got some photos of that.
