Photos from 2010. This was the year I bought my first dslr camera. I have been taking photos before 2010 using digital cameras with fixed lens and poor quality. I moved up to fixed zooms, then finally bought a canon Rebel XS with a kit lens. Then 3 T1i cameras, then traded my Redel XS for a 50d, then another 50d, then 3 7d cameras with l100-400 lens, then moved to 3 7dII cameras and the 100-400II, until I bought my first mirror-less and there was no looking back after that. I bought another one, and now I have 2 R5 cameras and a R5II.

I learned to use manual in previous cameras, but I had a lot to learn and the cameras kept getting better. The R5’s have been a game changer. I could use full manual while seeing the results in the viewfinder. The R5II has required a lot of learning, but I am getting the hang of it.
In 2010 I was still fishing a lot, but getting hooked on photography more and more. In this series they worked on the upper dam and the water was low, so I walked all over taking photos of the upper pool. I walked the bayou to get photos there too, but haven’t posted them all yet. I got the dsrl camera mid summer, so by Fall I was looking to get photos at the parks.
