I did get out to do a drift down the Rock River yesterday and I am still not seeing wildlife. There a lot of songbirds around, but seems many are missing. I did not see any wildlife at all. It was a wild spring with warm and cold spells and I think that hurt waterfowl and other mating.
The river almost flooded again. It rose quickly and dropped a foot already. The river is muddy. I have never seen so many pelicans on the Rock.
