I learned how to Walleye fish at Belview Iowa. I fished there many times. When I first started going, people were using small motors on Jon boats to pull 3-way rigs, a bead and a minnow was the norm. I feel I had something to do with the change. I was one of the first to use a trolling motor up front. I trolled in between anchored boats using jigs I made myself and caught big Sauger. Within a couple years every one was using trolling motors and jigs. Some of the photos are at Dubuque and the old Savana bridge.
